The goal of King's College is to educate the student for the present and the future. In keeping with this goal, the Office of Campus Safety and Security endeavors to provide a safe campus environment. Security Services will assist students in becoming active participants in the security of their campus. This is done with a motivated staff dedicated to being a positive resource to the campus community. The staff strives to update training and work together with other departments within the College to meet the needs of a dynamic society.
Student Safety and Security
Everyone is a potential victim of crime. The security services and the Offices of Residence Life and Commuter Life offers some precautions that students can take to help you from becoming a victim. Residence Halls are locked and front desk security is available 24 hours a day at certain residence halls. An escort service and outdoor emergency phones are located throughout the campus.
In case of an emergency, contact a security officer on duty by calling "0" from any on-campus extension, activate an emergency call box, go to the College Switchboard located in D. Leonard Corgan Library, or dial 9-1-1 for Wilkes-Barre City Police or Fire response.
