Nov. 13, 2014 - Elizabeth Doherty has joined King’s College as director of alumni relations and annual giving. She will be responsible for creating, managing, and producing alumni and annual giving related communications. In addition, Doherty will be working with the director of alumni relations and helping with annual giving and institutional advancement functions.

Some of Doherty’s duties will consist of preparing materials for alumni portions of the King’s “PRIDE” magazine, managing the Annual Fund telephone solicitation program, and managing the social media networks, alumni relations and annual giving.

Prior to coming to King’s, Doherty served as an alumni associate at Wyoming Seminary, where she was responsible for assisting the Alumni and Development office by helping manage and prepare events. She also helped with various fundraising efforts.

Doherty previously served as a development associate for Summit Area YMCA in Summit, N.J., and was the director of grants for the Palm Beach County Cultural Council in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Doherty earned her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Florida.

King’s College is a Catholic College Sponsored by the Congregation of Holy Cross.
